Subaru Forester 2012

Remember about me posting on how I went to the First Hawaiian International Auto Show a few days ago? And How I saw a car there that I was interested in?

Well, this is it. The 2012 Subaru Forester. Not in this particular color, but this happened to be the Limited version of the Forester (which is a little more decked out than the base model, or the mid-level model.) I’d prefer one of the more decked out models like the Limited, Touring, or Premium, since it has everything I’d ever want in a car in it. It has fog lights, a panoramic moonroof (I REALLY like this one), power seats (major preference), a 6 speaker stereo system, reclining back seats, an LCD display and lots of other awesome options. I like it because it has a lot of room without it being extra big to drive around. I could take around a lot of people or transport large items. The back seats go down which is good for if you’re trying to haul a lot of stuff or pack in big boxes. One particular thing that I need to do but can never do in my car (a 2009 Camry) is to transport a Christmas tree from the store to our house every year. This would be so much easier in the Forester.

Also, it’d be perfect for a small family, as a family car, but it’d be cooler than driving around a van. And like I mentioned before, it doesn’t FEEL extremely big and unmanageable when you sit in it. I really like these aspects of it because it fits into my upcoming lifestyle. Not to mention, it looks really nice! I’d like to get it in gray or pearl white. 😀

I think the only problem for me was that it has a somewhat outdated transmission style.  I think it’s going to be redesigned very soon, so hopefully they better that, but keep the same sleek, cool look that they have for it now. I’m afraid that they’re going to redesign it and it’s going to be ugly! Hahahaha…

I love the Auto Show that they have every year because they bring in all the dealers different cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and anything else you could imagine and you can go and sit in the cars and look at everything including the trunk and engines. This helps me to really know what I like and don’t like about the car that I’m interested in.

This is the Forester.
