Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 55 Sunblock

I’m going to be 25 soon, and I have been thinking more and more about how I need to start (or should have started) taking care of my skin. I know it is really important to wear a daily sunblock. No matter where you live or what you’re doing, you should be wearing a sunblock that’s at LEAST SPF 30, and you should be wearing it DAILY. I live in Hawaii where it’s sunny pretty much all year around so I feel like I REALLY need to be wearing a sunblock with SPF if I want to keep my skin looking fresh and to avoid getting skin cancer.

I’ve been looking for a good, light, non-greasy daily wear SPF sunblock that I could use on my face and with make up. My face gets oily during the day in general so I don’t want to use just regular sunblock. So, I picked out this one, “Neutrogena Clear Face Break-Out Free Liquid-Lotion Sunblock SPF 55” because I like Neutrogena in general. I already use Neutrogena brand sunblock for when I go out running or to the beach, so I figured why not get one in this brand for my face.

Most notable things for me are:

  • Oil-free
  • Fragrance free
  • Break-out free
  • Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)
  • Waterproof, sweatproof
  • Weightless matte finish so skin can breathe

I haven’t tried it yet because I just got it tonight, but I’ll let you all know how it is when I’ve used it for a while! 🙂

EDIT 4/5/12

I have written a short review with pictures after trying out the sunblock and you can find it right HERE.
