Kickin’ Kajun’s King Crab Legs!

MMMMMM! Tonight, the BF suggested we try this place called “Kickin’ Kajun“. I don’t know if you guys have ever heard of Hot N’ Juicy in Las Vegas, but it’s like that! (Hot N’ Juicy was also on Man Vs. Food or something of that nature. It was on TV so their pretty popular and well known). They serve all kinds of seafood, boiled in their special spicy cajun sauces, including a garlic butter sauce, which was what we had!

We also added on 4 corn and 6 potatoes to the mix! They gave some pretty good sized crab legs, the corn was good and not mushy, and the potatoes were those small little round red boiling potatoes. It wasn’t as flavorful as Hot N’ Juicy, BUT, it was still SO DELICIOUS! We also added on a “basket” of chicken tenders and french fries! This was also very good! The chicken was very crispy and it was white meat chicken! The french fries were crispy and big. So good.

Prices are a little high, as expected when you’re ordering seafood. The king crab legs were $25 a lb, which is about the same price as Costco, so not severely marked up or anything and the basket of  chicken and fries were $10 (for a pretty large portion of chicken and fries).

This is my new fav place for seafood! I’m in love with Kickin Kajun and actually found it by accident when I was at Walgreen’s across the street one evening. The whole experience of throwing paper down, getting a bib tied on (my favorite part) and going to town on those yummy creations is making me drool. Good thing I’m still wearing my bib.

HAHAHAHAHA! I have yet to sit and eat there! The last time, I did take-out. However, I have eaten at Hot & Juicy in Las Vegas before which is just like Kickin Kajun (they were running with that concept before Kickin Kajun)… And I love the bib and getting messy! And the fact that you just sit at a table with no plates or utensils and just eat. Hahahahha… I’m so glad that they made Kickin Kajun down here because I was hoping that they’d have someplace similar to Hot & Juicy!

Though, I must admit that Hot & Juicy is more flavorful, Kickin Kajun is a very close second!! I can’t wait to go back!
